미국 첫 방문 - 불의 계곡 (Valley of Fire)

제게 남은 시간은 단 2일.
이게 무슨 스릴러 영화도 아니고 자유시간이 2일만 있다는 것은 정말 청천벽력같은 소리였죠.
미국 어디론가 가고 싶었는데 막상 가려니 장소도 모르겠고 구글링을 했습니다.
몇몇 장소를 찾았고, 저는 바로 가장 저렴한 차를 렌트를 했습니다.
하필 왜 미국에서 한국 자동차라니.....

당시 한국의 자동차에 대한 신뢰도가 땅에 떨어진 상태라서 한국의 자동차를 정말로 좋아히지 않았죠. 그래도 그게 그나마 가장 저렴했던 차여서 그걸로 렌트했습니다.

그리고 목적지는 가장 가까운 관광지였던 '불의 계곡'.
당시에 멀지 않은 곳에 있었고 분위기가 좋아보였습니다.

그리고 찾아간 곳.
생각보다 만족도가 정말 좋았습니다.
이 모든 것들이 바람에 의해 생겼다니....
정말 아름다웠습니다.

 

I only have 2 days left.
It wasn't a thriller movie, and the fact that I had only two days of free time sounded like a blast.
I wanted to go somewhere in the US, but I didn't know where to go, so I googled it.
I found a few places, and I immediately rented the cheapest car.
Why is it a Korean car in the US.....

At that time, I didn't really like Korean cars because trust in Korean cars had fallen to the ground. Still, it was the cheapest car, so I rented it.

And the destination was 'Valley of Fire', which was the closest tourist destination.
It was not far at the time and the atmosphere seemed good.

and where I found it.
Satisfaction was much better than expected.
All these things were created by the wind...
It was really beautiful.

이곳은 정말 좋았습니다.
유난히 붉은 바위와 모래. 왜 국립공원이 되었는지는 실제로 눈으로 보면 알 수 있을 것이라고 생각합니다. 

 

This place was really good.
Exceptionally red rocks and sand. I think you can actually see why it became a national park.
