미국 첫 방문 - 그랜드 캐년 (First visit to USA - Grand Canyon)
미국에 왔다.
LA 인근에 왔다.
남은 시간은 하루.
당신이라면 어디를 가고 싶을까요?
전, 당연히 그랜드 캐년이 아닐까 싶습니다.
그래서 갔습니다. 그랜드 캐년.
차로 단 한번도 쉬지 않고 약 4시간을 정속주행해서 도착했습니다.
내가 여길 보지 않고 한국으로 돌아갔다면 정말로 큰 후회를 했을 것이라고 생각합니다.
책으로만 봤던 그랜트 캐년을 눈으로 보고 느끼니 정말로 감개무량했습니다.
아직도 기억이 나내요. 휴개소에서 정차하는 시간도 아까워서 차 안에서 소변을 봤습니다. (물론 이것 또한 경험이죠.)
I came to America.
I came from near LA.
The remaining time is one day.

I think it must be the Grand Canyon, of course.
So I went. Grand Canyon.
We arrived after driving at a constant speed for about 4 hours without a single break in the car.
I think I would have really regretted it if I had gone back to Korea without seeing it here.
It was truly heartbreaking to see and feel the Grant Canyon that I had only seen in books.
I still remember. It was a waste of time to stop at the service area, so I urinated in the car. (Of course, this is also an experience.)
그랜드 캐년의 광활함에 따른 아름다움은 눈으로 보지 못하면 설명할 수 없다.
정말 너무 아름다웠다.
인간은 정말로 너무도 작은 존재였다. 이 인간이 이 지구의 지배자라는 것이 새삼 또다른 느낌으로 다가갔다.
The beauty of the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon cannot be described without seeing it with the naked eye.
It was really so beautiful.
Humans were really very small beings. The fact that this man is the ruler of this earth came to me with a different feeling.
