후버댐 (Hoover Dam)
라스베가스에서 그랜드 캐년을 방문하기 위해서는 꼭 거쳐야하는 장소가 있는데 그게 바로 후버댐이다.
참새가 방앗간을 그냥 지나칠리 없다!
그랜드 캐년이 워낙에 멀리 있다고 해서 정말 이른 아침부터 서둘렀던 상황에서 내가 후버댐에 도착했을 때는 정말 아무도 없었다.
그래서 여유롭게 구경하고 매우 빠르게 그랜드 캐년으로 향할 수 있었다.
후버댐이 왜 유명한지 모르고 갔는데 지금도 왜 유명한지는 잘 모르겠다.
나는 한국인인데 대체 왜 남의 나라 댐을 알고 있는 것인가!?
마침 유튜브에서 이런 영상이 추천으로 올라왔길래 신기한 마음으로 봤는데 나름대로 유익했던 것 같다.
내가 봤었던 경치와 비교해보면 재밌다.
If I want to visit the Grand Canyon in Las Vegas, there is one place I must go through, and that is the Hoover Dam.
A sparrow can't just walk past the mill!
Since the Grand Canyon is so far away, there was really no one there when I arrived at Hoover Dam, in a rush from the early morning.
So I was able to leisurely explore and head to the Grand Canyon very quickly.
I didn't know why the Hoover Dam was famous, but I don't know why it is still famous.
I'm Korean, so why the hell do I know dams in other countries!?
I saw this video as a recommendation on YouTube, so I watched it with a curious mind, and I think it was useful in its own way.
It's interesting compared to the scenery I've seen.
