Honinji (Wedding Site, 혼인지) in Jeju-Do

We were growing from Seopji-Koji to Seongeup folk village. On my way to we grow by there, I had found place that look like fine. From conclusion as it were, it was my mistake. There was very boring place that there is big scale and it is no substantiality. I proposed to come together to my friend, but my friend decided to wait me in a car. Sky covered by dark cloud gradually. I look around round roughly and left there justly.

In fact, I took only some picture. Because sky was thought that time that use to take because of cloud dark and correct picture is regrettable. So generally, my picture is much dark. I do bloging here to show that place that is only such is.

Name of here is Honinji.

about Honinji (Wedding Site, 혼인지)

Designated as Local Monument No. 17, Honinji is a pond with 800 pyeong (2644.64㎡) where the three gods from Samseonghyeol and the three princesses from the Byeoknang State got married. A wooden box was found off of the eastern sea and when people opened it, there was a stone box in it. In the wooden box, there were horses and the seeds of five grains. Legend has it that the three gods married three ladies, chose fertile land, and settled there. This indicates that farming began in Jeju island at that time.
