Dol-hareubangs, also called tol harubangs, hareubangs, harubangs, are large mushroom-like statues found on Jeju Island off the southern tip of Korea. They are considered to be gods offering both protection and fertility and were placed outside of gates for protection against demons travelling between realities.

We left for the next time destination after we get up and see again Yongduam(Dragon Head Rock) for a moment in the morning. There is Dol-harbang park. There was no the destination that is decided originally to us. So, we had visited tourist bureau beside Yongduam. Decided to informed several good point that I knew there to a friend, and travel ncluding place that inform in travel bureau. Of course, variable could occur always. Purpose of our travel was thing to enjoy only. It was travel for travel that is not signtseeing that talk often.
Signtseeing and travel are very different as is similar. Travel includes kind of adventure. Although I was not situation that I can enjoy adventure, but I wanted to find for again me through it, I selected.

Anyway, we selected Dol-hareubang Park to the next time destination.

Perhaps, when I subtract that had visited there finally, it might in since 1996 to 1999. And I visit

there in 2009 again. I had thought at that time that there is very boring and uninteresting place.

However, it was thinking which become bad perfectly.

Jeju Island is very very interesting place(island). It is unique volcano island in the South Korea and because most people did not like there once upon a time.

Since ancient times, Jeju has been an ideal village, without thieves, gates, and beggars. Perhaps, it may be guess which is possible a person who know well about Korean history.

It is thing which people carve and make all recently that is here. And actually, because very much times and effort may need to see the Harbang one by one. However, here can see appearance that reappear it.

Exhibited all works are honest-to-God(really) being not imitation here. Only, it is problem when it was made and was made by anyone hand. We must find really museum to see practical thing.

Here is artificial products that is made by some people. However, it occupies most that it is made by past history.

Points of this my travel writing are its image and its history. And is story that it passes. We can see imitation in where. However, I think that this reappears nearly historic background and actuality.

우리는 아침에 일어나서 용두암을 잠깐 다시 본 후 다음 목적지로 향했다. 그곳은 돌하르방 공원이다. 원래 우리에게 정해진 목적지는 없었다. 그래서 우리는 용두암 옆에 있는 여행 안내소를 찾았었다. 그곳에서 내가 알고 있었던 몇몇 좋은 포인트를 친구에게 알려줬고, 관광 안내소에서 알려준 곳을 포함하여 여행하기로 했다. 물론 언제나 변수는 생길 수 있었다. 우리의 여행의 목적은 단지 즐기기 위한 것이였다. 흔히 말하는 관광이 아닌 여행을 위한 여행이였다.
관광과 여행은 비슷하면서도 매우 다르다. 여행은 일종의 모험을 포함하고 있다. 내가 비록 모험을 즐길 수 있는 상황은 아니였지만 나는 그것을 통해서 나를 다시 찾기를 원했기 때문에 나는 선택했다. 어쨌든 우리는 다음 목적지로 돌하르방 공원을 선택했다.

이번 나의 여행글의 포인트는 그것의 모습과 그것의 역사입니다. 그리고 그것이 전해주는 이야기 입니다. 우리는 어디에서든 가짜를 볼 수 있습니다. 하지만 이것은 역사적인 배경과 실제에 가깝게 재현한 것이라고 생각합니다.

관광은 매우 지루합니다. 나는 한국인 입니다. 나의 글을 영어로 쓰는 이유는 단지 한가지 이유 때문입니다. 한국은 한국어를 사용하고 그것에 대한 적당한 영어 설명을 인터넷에서 찾기 힘듭니다. 다는 외국인들을 대신하여 그것에 대한 설명을 하려고 노력하고 있습니다. 무엇보다 제주는 매우 매우 흥미로운 섬이기 때문입니다.
